For more than12 years, we have been examining the geographic health disparities in Mississippi. We have developed spatially enabled database with health care resources for Mississippi, Alabama and Louisiana. This database now can be used to develop health care access application and also for hypothesis-based research to examine the geographic health disparities in the South.
